The Belgium national team have chosen Bordeaux as their base camp throughout the championship period. The team will be staying at The Golf du Medoc at Le Pian-Medoc. The team will also have regular training sessions at the Haillan Centre, with sessions open to the public at the Chaban-Delmas Stadium.

Getting Around:
Bordeaux is the economic capital of south west France making it a strategic city for all travelling supporters with comprehensive air, road and rail routes.
The city has a easily accessible and regular public transport service with three regular tram lines running through the city centre and through to the surrounding suburbs. Along with its 65 bus services it is also wise to purchase a universal public transport ticket which also allows you to shuttle up and down the river Garonne and hire bikes.
Bordeaux Merignac airport connects 32 cities across 60 chartered destinations with regular links to all the major French and European cities, including twenty flights a day to Paris.
The Bordeaux Saint-Jean railway station is the largest in the region and just ten minutes by tram from the city centre. The railway has links to Paris, Charles De Gaulle airport, Lille and Strasbourg.
The Port de la Lune is the second largest port on the Atlantic coast with ships and pleasure boats docking in the centre of the city.
Where to watch the game:
The Stade de Bordeaux was newly established in May 2015 and is only 8km from the city centre. The 42,000 seater stadium is home to FC Girondins de Bordeaux and is located between a man made lake and Garonne river in northern Bordeaux. The former stadium, Stade Chaban-Delmas was a venue for the previous games at the 1938 and 1998 FIFA World Cups.
During all the competition time a fan zone will be set-up on the “Esplanade des Quinconces” and will broadcast every match across the month long tournament. It will be one of the largest fan zones across the 10 host cities at Euro 2016. All of the 51 matches will be broadcasted on a giant screen with no admission fee.
